A New Chapter Begins
Last July, I celebrated my 60th birthday—a milestone that reminded me just how precious life truly is.
Today, my battle against liver cancer continues. But this journey is no longer about simply reacting to the disease. My goal is to be proactive—to pursue every opportunity, every treatment, and every path that gives me the best chance for many more years of life.
The Hawaii Dance Expo is now more than just a dance festival. It has become part of my mission to raise funds for my cancer treatment and help me reach my fundraising goal by the end of 2026.
For more than 35 years, dance has been my passion, my purpose, and my way of bringing people together. This event celebrates that journey while giving our community an opportunity to stand with me in this fight.
Whether you attend, donate, volunteer, or simply share this event with others, your support means more than words can express.

We don't simply choose based on dance skills or popularity; we only hire artists who are social dancers at heart and able to share their passion and expertise with great didactics. Their ability to transport the social dance experience into their workshops is what sets them apart and makes them the best in the business.

The Hawai'i Intl Dance Expo is an exciting 4-day, 5-Night events featuring multiple dance disciplines in Honolulu, By bringing together these dance styles , attendees can expect a weekend full of fun and unforgettable memories. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, there will be workshops tailored to your experience level. In addition, the event will feature live performances from world-renowned artists, a live concert, and social dancing in four different rooms with top DJs.
